Kombat Arts Successful in MMA in Ohio

The boys of Kombat Arts fought again in a MMA competition in Ohio on the Oct 4 and 5 weekend.  Win, lose or draw, the Kombat Arts is always proud of their athletes.  Marc Strickland won a unanimous decision over a very tough opponent in a NAAFS sanctioned event and will go on to fight for the title belt in December.  Good luck Marc!  The very next day we had 3 athletes fight in another MMA event.  Anthony Nguyen fought a more experienced opponent, winning by unanimous decision.  Jeffrey Hsiung unfortunately lost by TKO.  Don’t worry Jeff, everyone gets caught and you will kick butt in your next match!  Julian della Vedova won his match with a triangle choke.  Awesome work guys, we look forward to more success in amateur MMA-Jd

The piks are blurry but you get the idea.  I can still feel the oil coming out of all of my pores.  This is not the best after fight meal: pub chips, cheese nachos, burger, beer and pop.  We are all still suffering from gut rot! Jd

Kombat Arts Fights MMA in Ohio

  Congratulations to 2 of our Kombat Arts athletes, John Roche and Sylwester Organka for their wins at the War on the Shore2 in Geneva, Ohio.  John won his MMA fight in the 1st round win a great slam and ground and pound to finish the fight via TKO.  Sylwestor won his fight via unanimous decision, putting on what officials and spectators said was “a clinic in Thai boxing“.  Thanks to all of the instructors and the sparring partners; without you guys these victories would not be possible-Jd
