This Weekend’s Schedule

  Hey guy as a reminder.  This weekend, Salem Assli will be conducting a 2 day seminar at our school.  Day 1 will be Muay Thai and Kali.  Day 2 will be Savate and Jeet Kune do.

All classes are the same, except for Muay Thai.  The Muay Thai class is cancelled for this weekend only.  Instead of the Muay Thai class, Salem will be teaching a 2 hour workshop, on Muay Thai.  The cost is just $25.00.  To learn about the seminar, please go here-Jd

Muay Thai Workshop @ Kombat Mississauga

  Hey guys just a reminder there is no Muay Thai class this Saturday.  Instead Salem Assli will be teaching a 2 hr. workshop on Muay Thai.  This 2 hour workshop costs only $25.00!!  In the afternoon, Salem will be teaching Kali, and on Sunday he will be teaching savate and jeet kune do.  This will be an exciting weekend of martial arts   For more info click me, Jd

4th Day in LA

Here are some piks of the sunny weather in LA, our favourite place to eat, where we did our laundry, couple shots of the guys, a shot with the infamous Guro Dan Inosanto, Professor’s cat and some of his weapons.  The fourth day started with me peeling myself off the bed; man I am sore   I also think I’m getting a cold, but it’s hard to complain when it is so sunny here   We went off to the Inosanto Academy and started off with some Kali with Guro Dan Inosanto and than we finished off with some MMA.  Kali class was awesome, MMA was ok.  Tomorrow will be JKD, Shooto and Kali.

After training we did laundry and than went to Professor Salem Assli’s house to hang around and look at his cool toys .  Than the evening ended off by us watching Slumdog Millionaire, which I personally think was 1 of the best movies of 2008, check it out   Jd

Professor Salem Assli

Professor Salem Assli will be back at the Kombat Arts to hold a 2 day seminar on Nov 29 and the 30 on Muay Thai (Thai boxing), Jeet Kune Do, Savate and Kali.  This is a great opportunity to train with an expert in so many different martial arts.  His bio is too long to get into but in short he is an instructor at the famous Inosanto Academy.  He is certified to teach Jeet Kune Do under Sifu Dan Inosanto, Savate and Kali. He is also certified in Muay Thai (Thai boxing) under Ajarn Sirisute Chai, founder of the Thai Boxing Association of the USA.  The early registration price has been extended to Nov 22 (because there was a delay in getting this poster edited).  I will post videos shortly of this great instructor and of his instructors-Jd

August 2 Long Weekend Schedule

Hey Guys,

this is the Long Weekend schedule for Aug 2.  The school will still be open on Aug 2, the Thai boxing (Muay Thai), Konditioning, Fighters, Sparring, Tai Chi, Mini Dragons, JKD/Kali and the Brazilian Jiu Jistu (No Gi) classes are still going on.

Monday August 4, the school will be closed and all of the classes will be cancelled. Have a great safe long weekend.  The school will re-open Tuesday-Jd
