Mehdi Pouroskoui will make his 3rd return to the Kombat Arts on July 12 and 13. This 2 day training weekend will be open to fighters, Muay Thai enthusiasts and instructors. Day 1 will start off with training for those that want to compete. The 2nd portion of the day will be for those that want to brush up on their technique, learn some tactics and improve their Thai boxing. Day 2 will be an instructor’s workshop where the fundamental ideas behind Mehdi’s instructors’ program will be introduced to the participant; the same program that we implement at the Kombat Arts. Day 2 will also be for private lessons. So check out this seminar, this will be a great opportunity to train with a World Thai boxing Champion, professional boxer and bare knuckle fighter-Jd -

Kombat Arts Golf Tournament
kombatarts
Ok guys here is a chance for us to excel at a non-contact activity; GOLF! Well it may start off as non-contact, but things can change…Seriously we are hosting a Golf Tournament and we would like you to be there. The good thing is that you don’t even have to be good (like me). A good percentage of the proceeds go to our athletes representing us in Thai boxing in Italy. We are also looking for sponsors to sponsor a golf hole. For more info check out the flyer or give me a shout at 905 804-8158 or email me at @kombatarts.com">info@kombatarts.com. We look forward to seeing you guys out on the green

The Difference Between Street & Sport: Let RAVEN Show You the Difference
kombatarts
This is a another great article written by my friend Burton Richardson of JKD Unlimited. A lot of people train in the martial arts for: sport, the sake of the art (to learn something) and self defense (street). Want to know the difference? This article may help and check out Linda’s self defense course on July 13. All proceeds go to our athletes fighting in Italy this year. They are representing Canada at the Worlds in Thai boxing, so you can accomplish 2 things on this day: learn how to protect your life and help sponsor our athletes:

Are You Tuff? You May Never Know…
kombatarts
Unless you checked out the workshop hosted by Kombat Arts Mississauga. Robert Schinke was on hand to share some cutting edged techniques to advance your mental tuffness game. Some of them may seem common sense (yet they were great reminders) and some of them were pretty damn awesome. I would get into it but Salar does a better job describing the workshop. Check out his brief write up here. Don’t worry we will have Robert back! Thanks to all of our friends that supported this workshop-Jd
